Day 2 of the Countdown to Pleasure: Clearings

Today, we're focusing on the concept of "Clearings." It's a way to bring yourself into the present by sharing what's been weighing on your heart and soul. Sharing lightens the load and allows you to feel seen, loved, and held in your struggles.

What is Clearing?

Clearing is a practice that allows you to be present by sharing what's weighing on your heart and soul. It's a way to feel seen, loved, and held in your struggles.

Why Do We Need to Clear?

Break the Silence: As Brene Brown teaches, shame thrives in silence and isolation. Sharing what bothers you can be intimately healing.

Be Your Whole Self: Clearing teaches your nervous system that you can be your whole self and still be loved and accepted.

Release and Let Go: It's a way to release emotional baggage, making you feel lighter and more present.

Today, let's dive deep into what we're clearing:

The Egg Freezing Dilemma: At 36 and single, the thought of freezing my eggs is both empowering and daunting. The financial commitment is significant, and the decision weighs heavily on me. Sharing this makes me feel lighter, as if I've put my concerns into the universe, making room for clarity and guidance.

Podcast Anxiety: My first podcast experience was nerve-wracking. I overthought every answer, and my anxiety got the best of me. Sharing this helps me release some of that self-imposed pressure and reminds me to be kinder to myself.

Work Overwhelm: Juggling work and business has left me feeling overwhelmed and deflated. My to-do list seems never-ending. Sharing this makes me realize that it's okay to ask for help and take a step back when needed.

Menstrual Blues: I'm on day 2 of my period, and it's affecting my mood. Acknowledging this helps me be more compassionate towards myself.

Fear of Unfulfillment: The fear that I'll never find my true passion and that work has to be stressful is paralyzing. Sharing this fear makes it less daunting, reminding me that it's a journey, and it's okay not to have all the answers now.

Self-Worth: Believing in my own self-worth is a constant struggle. Sharing this makes me realize that self-worth is a journey, and every step, no matter how small, is progress.

The Physical and Emotional Baseline

Period: Second day of my period, hormones are high, and energy is but higher than yesterday but still low.

Masturbation: Every 2-3 days, but the joy is missing.

Last Jade Practice: Over a month ago, before this new chapter beckoned.
